Guj Acpc Pgcet Schedule Common Registration 2024 

Gujarat PGCET is administered annually by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. Gujarat PGCET is a state-level entrance examination for candidates looking admission to postgraduate courses in Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy. This exam serves as a gateway to various postgraduate programs offered in the state. Admission to participating institutions is based on the candidates’ merit and preferences. The postgraduate courses encompass ME/M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.Arch, and M.Plan.

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Application Process:

1. Candidates can register on the ACPC’s official website – gujacpc.admissions.nic.in

2. During online registration, candidates need to provide their contact, personal, and educational details.

3. Candidates must upload a soft copy of their passport-size photograph along with other required information.

4. The scanned image should be in jpg, png, or BMP format and should not exceed 20 Kb in file size.

5. After submitting the application, candidates should print their Gujarat PGCET application form.

6. Subsequently, applicants must visit authorized support centers with a printout of their completed application form and other necessary documents for verification.

**Note: Every document must be certified, and originals must be presented at the support centres during verification.

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Application Fee:

All candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 500 to complete the Gujarat PGCET application process.

Payment of the fee must be made in cash when obtaining the PIN cover from the approved ICICI bank branch.

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for MTech Admission: Applicants must possess a B.E., B.Tech., or equivalent degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates). Students appearing for their final year B.E., B.Tech, or B.Pharm exams are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to M.Pharm: Candidates should hold a B.Pharm degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% (or 50% for SC, ST, EWS, or SEBC candidates). 

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Exam Pattern :

1. The Gujarat PGCET 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode, utilising OMR sheets.

2. The exam will comprise multiple-choice questions of the objective type.

3. There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam.

4. Candidates will have 90 minutes for PGCET Engineering and 100 minutes for PGCET Pharmacy to complete the test.

5. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.

6. There is no provision for negative marking.

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Admit Card:

Candidates must carry their Gujarat PGCET admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam center.

Gujarat PGCET 2024 Counselling:

Candidates who qualify on the merit list are eligible for Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2024. The counselling process includes a mock round followed by the actual first round. ACPC will release the seat allotment list for the first round, and subsequent rounds will be conducted based on available vacancies. Here are the steps for the Gujarat PGCET counselling process:

1. Complete the online choice-filling process, maximizing choices for better chances of admission.
2. Use the mock round to analyze probable seat allotments and adjust choices accordingly.
3. The first round will allocate seats based on exam performance and candidate preferences.
4. Additional rounds may be conducted to fill remaining vacancies.
