Selection Procedure Under Navy Agniveer:

Agniveer is chosen by the Indian Navy through a two-step selection procedure that consists of a written exam taken online in Stage 1 and a physical fitness, adaptability, and measuring test in Stage 2 as well as a medical checkup.

Agniveer (MR): There will fifty objective-style questions on the exam. There will questions on general awareness, mathematics, and science in the exam. The online test will take 30 minutes to complete in total.

Agniveer (SSR): There will one hundred objective-style questions on the exam. There will four areas on the question paper: General Awareness, Science, Mathematics, and English. The online test will last for sixty minutes in total.

  • Physical Measurement:

After passing the PFT, candidates move on to the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Physical measurements will made in accordance with the previously stated physical norms. The PMT will held at the Indian Navy’s training facilities. Here is a list of physical requirements that a candidate must fulfil.

  1. Height: For both genders, the minimum height requirement is 157 cm.
  2. Chest: Only for men, the minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
  3. Weight: In line with age and height
  • Medical Examination:

Applicants who pass the PFT will subjected to a recruitment medical examination. Those who pass the recruitment medical exam will added to a merit list. Applicants who are deemed medically unfit during the Recruitment Medical Examination are recommended to challenge the results, if they so want, at the military hospital that has been assigned by the Indian Navy, within a maximum of five days. Medical fitness certificates from facilities other than the Indian Navy-designated Military facilities will not accepted. It is not permitted to review or appeal further.
