Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Constables in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Indian Railways has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) and Constables in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) for the year 2024. Read below for detailed information.

Details of Vacancy :

– Candidates must review the Post Parameter Table and Vacancy Table of detailed CEN No. RPF 01/2024 and CEN No. RPF 02/2024 to ensure eligibility before applying online.
– Each candidate should submit only one online application against each CEN separately, i.e., one application against CEN No. RPF 01/2024 and one against CEN No. RPF 02/2024.
– Applications must submitted through any of the official RRB websites listed in Para 13.
– Attempting to submit more than one application against a CEN will lead to disqualification and debarment.
– Eligibility will provisional based on the details provided by the candidates in the application.
– Candidates should verify their eligibility for the post.
– Providing false or incorrect information in the application or suppressing relevant information will result in disqualification.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Application Dates :

Registration process for RPF Recruitment 2024 for Sub-Inspectors and Constables will commence from tomorrow, April 15, 2024. Candidates can apply until May 14, 2024.

Age Limit RPF Recruitment 2024 :

For Sub-Inspector position : The age eligibility criteria for Sub-Inspectors is between 20 to 28 years.
For Constable position : The age eligibility for Constables is between 18 to 28 years.

RPF Recruitment 2024 Application Fee :

For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minority, or Economically Weaker Section (EWS), the application fee is Rs. 250. The fee will refunded after deducting the applicable bank charges for candidates appearing in the CBT. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500, out of which Rs. 400 will refunded after deducting the applicable bank charges for candidates appearing in the CBT.

Educational Qualifications for RPF Recruitment 2024 :

For Sub-Inspector position: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
For Constable position: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or equivalent examination from a board recognized by the Government of India.

Recruitment Process of RPF Recruitment 2024 :

– Candidates are required to apply only through ONLINE mode via any of the official websites of the RRBs. Submission of multiple applications by a candidate will result in rejection of all applications and debarment.
– The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:
– Computer Based Test (CBT)
– Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
– Document Verification (DV)
– Eligible candidates will receive information about examination schedule and venues through RRB websites, SMS, and email at the appropriate time.

Instructions to Apply for RPF Recruitment 2024 :

• Candidates should carefully read all instructions and information before filling out the ONLINE application to avoid errors.
• Before applying, candidates need to ‘Create an account’ for this CEN through the link provided on the official RRB websites. They must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID to receive OTPs for account creation. No changes in the details provided in the ‘Create an Account’ form will allowed later.
• Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application, which should done exclusively through the official RRB websites listed. The applicable Examination Fee must paid. Submitting multiple applications will result in the rejection of all applications and debarment.
• Before filling out the application online, candidates must have the following scanned documents ready:
  • Recent, clear color passport size photograph of the candidate in JPEG format (size 30 to 70KB) against a plain white background, without wearing dark glasses and/or a cap. Candidates must have at least 12 copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.
