To access the Student New Entry Tab, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the student portal – education.maharashtra.gov.in and log in : student.maharashtra.gov.in / stud_db/users/login
Step 2: Click on the MENU button and navigate to Excel. Download the Personal Data option from Excel. 
3rd Step : Open the downloaded file and fill in the required student information.
Step 4: Save the file in CSV format.
Step 5: Upload the file on the student portal under the Excel section by selecting the Upload Personal option.

Saral Student Portal Admission Process 2024-25:

The process for securing admission through the RTE 25% reservation via online application consists of three main parts.

Part I: School
1) Eligible schools should provide the following details and seek approval from the Cluster/URC head to make the school available for selection:
a) School Contacts
b) Valid age limit for admission
c) Total strength, intake, and vacancies for RTE 25% reservation as of 30th September 2014
d) Accurate school location on Google Maps

Part II: Child
1) Register your application number on the system; the number and password will sent to your registered mobile.
2) Enter child and parent details.
3) Accurately locate your address to list schools within 1 KM and within 1-3 KM range from your house.
4) Select the required standard.
5) Upload necessary documents.
6) Confirm the application.
7) After confirmation, bring the printed application along with required documents to the provided help desk.

Part III: Lottery
1) Schools with more vacancies and fewer applications will allot seats to all applicants.
2) Schools with fewer vacancies will utilise the lottery system, drawn and generated by the district administration (Education Officer, Primary for the district).
3) The selection list will published on the system.
4) Parents can access the list under the application login and print the admit card.
5) Schools will admit students as approached by parents after completing necessary requirements.
