The Uttar Pradesh Government’s Basic Education Department has recently announced the RTE admission application form for the academic year 2024-25 on its official website. The process for RTE Admission Up for the academic year 2024-25 started.
What is RTE ?
The Right to Education Act entitles every child in India to receive free and compulsory education between the ages of 6 and 14.
What is aim of RTE UP ?
- RTE Admission in Uttar Pradesh ensures free education for economically disadvantaged students in private unaided schools.
- At least 25% of seats in these schools are reserved for students eligible for free education under RTE.
- RTE UP Admission primarily applies to Class 1 or pre-primary classes.

RTE UP Admission 2024-25 Application Process:
- Visit the official website – rte25.upsdc.gov.in
- Click on the “Apply Online” link available on the Uttar Pradesh RTE Admission 2024-25 portal.
- Fill in the necessary details, including the student’s name, and complete the RTE UP Student Registration for the 2024-25 admission.
- Verify that all information provided is accurate, then submit the application form for the 25% admission quota in Uttar Pradesh under the Right To Education.
Eligibility Criteria for RTE UP Admission 2024-25
Before filling out the RTE UP Admission 2024-25 Online Form, applicants must review the official notification and eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- Their family must registered under the BPL Scheme.
- The age of students should range from 3 years to 7 years.

Students whose names are included in this list will eligible for admission to their respective schools. The UP RTE students list will updated subsequent to the announcement of the lottery results.

Students can gain admission to private and unaided schools across Uttar Pradesh through the RTE UP admission process for the year 2024-25. The Uttar Pradesh government has designated private schools under RTE in each of the 75 districts of the state, with schools located in every block. Age Criteria for RTE Admission 2024-25
It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their children meet the age requirements specified for UP RTE admission 2024-25. The age limit differs for Nursery and Class 1 students. Below are the age limits for UP RTE admission 2024-25:
- Nursery Class : Min age: 3 years Max age: 5 years
- Class 1 : Min age: 5 years Max age: 7 years
