CG Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 :  A program to help women and enhance maternal and child health

The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Vishnu Dev Sai, has introduced a new initiative called Mahatari Vandana Yojana 2024. Under this scheme, married women across the state will receive Rs 1000 as monthly financial aid. Starting from January 10, 2024, the first payment will be deposited into beneficiaries’ bank accounts by February 10, 2024.

What is aim of CG Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 ?

The primary goal of this initiative is to empower women, offer them economic assistance, and improve the health outcomes of mothers and children.

How to Apply for Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: 

1. Visit the official website of the scheme at  –  mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in

OR  go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) in your area.

2. Select the “Online Application” option from the homepage.

3. Fill the application form with your personal and bank details and complete it.

4. Scan and upload the required documents, such as Aadhaar card, marriage certificate, income certificate, etc.

OR  you can submit them offline at the nearest Anganwadi Center or Women and Child Development Department office.

5. Click on the submit button and take a print of the confirmation page.

6. You will also receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email id.

Registration open online and offline until February 20, 2024.

Documents Required of Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: 

• Aadhar Card
• Age Proof Certificate
• Bank Account Passbook
• Identity Proof
• Passport-sized Photographs
• Residence Proof (Ration card or residence certificate for Chhattisgarh residents)
• Mobile Number

Eligibility for Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 : 

1. Applicant must be a married woman and a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
2. Age of the applicant must not be less than 23 years.
3. Must possess a valid Aadhaar card and a bank account linked with Aadhaar.
4. Required to submit a marriage certificate or a self-declaration of marriage.
5. Should provide a birth certificate or a self-declaration of birth of her children, if any.
6. Must submit a family income certificate or a self-declaration of family income.
7. Required to submit a domicile certificate or a self-declaration of domicile.

Note: The last date to apply for the scheme – 20 February 2024, and the first instalment of Rs 1000 will transferred to your bank account on 10 February 2024.

Benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: 

• The beneficiary will receive Rs 1000 every month, totalling Rs 12,000 annually, as financial assistance from the state government.
• Financial assistance will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode.
• Assistance will be provided indefinitely, until the beneficiary is alive or remarried.
• It will help cover daily expenses and support children’s education and health.
• It will aid in improving the beneficiary’s health and well-being, especially during pregnancy and delivery.
• Empowers the beneficiary to play a more active role in her family and society.

A. Using Mobile Number:

1. Visit the official website of CG Mahtari Vandana Yojana: mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in/ beneficiary-application-status.
2. Click on the “Application Status” button on the homepage.
3. Enter your Mobile Number in the provided field.
4. Fill in the Captcha Code accurately.
5. Click on the “Submit” button below.
6. Your beneficiary application status will then be displayed on the screen.

B. Checking Payment Status by Application Number:

1. Go to the official webpage of CG Mahtari Vandana Yojana.
2. Click on the “Application Status” button on the homepage.
3. Select the category “Application Number.”
4. Enter your Application Number in the form.
5. Click on the “Submit” button provided.
6. Your application status will then be retrieved and displayed on the screen.
