Helicopter ticket bookings for rides to various destinations have started from April 20, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM. This booking facility is available for specific journey periods, including May 10 to June 20, 2024, and September 15 to October 31, 2024. However, the opening date for booking tickets for the period spanning from June 21 to September 14, 2024, will disclosed later. The exclusive platform for booking helicopter tickets to Shri Kedarnath Dham online is the IRCTC HeliYatra Website, accessible at heliyatra.irctc.co.in.

NOTE : Chardham Yatra Registration is mandatory for booking helicopter services.

Helicopter Yatra to Shri Kedarnath Dham :

Ticket booking for helicopter rides have started from April 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM for the following journey periods :

– September 15 to October 31, 2024

1. Complete your Chardham Yatra Registration on registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.

Methods of Registration :

1. Online via this Web Portal.
2. Utilizing the Mobile Application – Tourist Care Uttarakhand (Download the Android App & iOS App).
3. Via WhatsApp Facility – Contact Number: +91 8394833833. Simply type “Yatra” to begin the registration process on WhatsApp.

2. Create a Heliyatra account to check seat availability using your Registration Number or Group ID.

3. Choose your desired departure slot and complete your booking with the online payment mode of your choice.

4. Carry the IRCTC Heliyatra ticket to the assigned Helipad location.

Chardham Yatra General Instructions for Passengers :

• Chardham Yatra Registration on the Uttarakhand Govt. Portal is mandatory to book Helicopter Service online. If not already registered, please click on Chardham Yatra Registration.
• To sign up or create an account, validate your e-Mail ID and Mobile No. through OTP on heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Your User ID/Booker ID will your registered Mobile No., and you will need to create your own password.
• Maximum 02 (two) Helicopter Tickets can booked per User/Booker ID with maximum six passengers (06 Nos.) per Ticket i.e., a User/Booker can book for a group of maximum 12 passengers on 2 tickets with a single User ID/Booker ID.
• For booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers, the User/Booker will required to Sign up with another User ID/Booker ID on heliyatra.irctc.co.in, if already available, or create another User ID/Booker ID for booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers.
• Helicopter Bookings are only allowed for (Tour Date -3 & Tour Date +2) based on the Tour Date of Shri Kedarnath Dham provided in Char Dham Yatra Registration. For example, for a Tour date of 05th May for Shri Kedarnath Dham, booking can done between 02 May to 07 May = 06 Days.

• Children aged 02 years & above will charged full fare and provided with a seat. Infants less than 02 years old will not charged fare and no seat will provided. Maximum 02 child passengers and 02 infants are allowed per sortie.
• The ticket is valid with original ID proof submitted at the time of booking.
• Passengers must reach the Helipad at least one hour before the booked slot time.
• Seating arrangements depend on helicopter load and operational requirements.
• Passenger weight (adult, child & infant) will weighed before boarding.
• Dynamic Pricing on Helicopter Tickets applies as per UCADA policy.
• Cancellation and refunds will governed by the Helicopter ticket Cancellation / Refund Policy.
• Refunds for online tickets will processed online within 05 to 07 working days.
• Refunds for tickets booked with cash payment can collected from the helipad counter.
• If Helicopter service is cancelled, passengers of the affected slot will not carried forward to the next slot.
• Complaints regarding refund delays should lodged with IRCTC within 15 days from the date of departure.

How to Download Yatri Darshan Certificate :

1. Visit the official website –
2. On the home page click on the Yatri Certificate Icon.
3. Enter your registration number and registered mobile number.
4. Download the certificate and carry it along the during the visit.

NOTE : YATRI DARSHAN CERTIFICATE WILL AVAILABLE ONLY FOR VERIFIED YATRI AT SPECIFIC DHAM.

IRCTC Heli Yatra Cancellation and Refund Instructions :

• Convenience Fee and Payment Gateway/Transaction Charges are non-refundable in all cases.

Chardham Yatra Helicopter Booking login

• Online helicopter tickets booked through IRCTC website must cancelled online by the passenger.
• Requests for cancellation of online helicopter tickets will not accepted through any other mode.
• Refunds for online cancellations will credited to the same account used for booking, after deducting Payment Gateway Charges/Transaction Charges and Convenience Fee.
• Full refund, excluding Payment Gateway Charges/Transaction Charges and Convenience Fee, will issued in case of cancellation due to technical reasons, bad weather, or government orders.
• Passengers must submit their ticket or boarding pass at the Check-in counter for cancellation in case of service cancellation.
• Refunds for online tickets will processed online and credited to the source account within 5 to 7 working days.
• Refunds for tickets booked with cash payment must collected by the passenger from the counter.
• Passengers of cancelled slots will not carried forward to the next slot.
• Any extra weight charges paid by the passenger will refunded by the helicopter operator at the helipad.
• If refund is not received within the stipulated period, passengers may lodge a complaint with IRCTC within 15 days from the date of departure. Refund will made to the same account through which the ticket was booked. No refund claims will entertained after 15 days from the date of departure.
