The aadhaar.uidai.gov.in portal offers a convenient platform for various Aadhaar-related services, streamlining the access to essential documents and information for Indian residents.

Within 72 hours of your update request, you can visit the official UIDAI website at eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. There, you’ll need to provide your Update Request Number to initiate the download process. How to Download E-Aadhaar Card PDF ?

  1. Go to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “My Aadhaar” section and select “Download Aadhaar”.
  3. Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha, then click on “Request OTP”.
  4. Confirm the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  5. Enter the OTP and click on “Download Aadhaar”.
  6. Your E-Aadhaar card will downloaded successfully.
  7. To open the document, use the first four letters of your Name (in uppercase) followed by your date of birth as the password.

Download Aadhaar Card pdf by Name and Date of Birth :

  1. Go to the website resident.uidai.gov.in.
  2. Click on “Retrieve EID”.
  3. Enter your registered mobile number, email ID, and captcha, then click on “Send OTP”.
  4. Enter the OTP received and click on “Submit”.
  5. Your Aadhaar number will sent to your mobile number.
  6. Once you have your Aadhaar number, follow the steps mentioned in the “Download Aadhaar Card with Aadhaar Number” section above.

Aadhar Card Downloading Using Various means :

E-Aadhaar Card by Using Virtual ID :

  1. Visit the UIDAI website at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
  2. Click on “My Aadhaar”.
  3. Select “Download Aadhaar”.
  4. You will directed to the My Aadhaar website.
  5. Choose “Virtual ID”.
  6. Enter your 16-digit Virtual ID and the captcha.
  7. Click on “Send OTP”.
  8. Receive and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  9. Optionally, select “Masked Aadhaar” if you prefer not to reveal all digits of your Aadhaar number.
  10. Click on “Verify and Download” to download your Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar Card by Enrolment Number :

  1. Go to the official UIDAI website at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
  2. Choose the option for “Registration ID” on the screen.
  3. You can select either the standard Aadhaar or masked Aadhaar based on your preference.
  4. Enter all the required details, including your 14-digit registration ID and 14-digit enrolment date and time.
  5. Input the captcha code and click on the “Request OTP” button.
  6. Confirm your selection by clicking on the ‘Confirm’ button.
  7. Once you receive the OTP on your registered mobile number, enter it and click the “Download Aadhaar” button.
  8. Your Aadhaar card will downloaded to your device and can printed or saved for future use.

Downloading Aadhar Using Various Apps on the Smartphone :

JAN Aadhaar Card Online pdf :

  1. Download and install the Jan Aadhaar app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Launch the app on your device.
  3. From the app menu, select the option labeled “Get E-Card”.
  4. You have two options for obtaining the Jan Aadhaar card through the mobile app : either by using the Jan Aadhaar authorization ID or by using your Jan Aadhaar ID.
  5. Enter the required information accordingly.
  6. Choose the option “Get Family Member List” from the menu.
  7. Select a family member from the provided list and click on their contact number to generate the OTP.
  8. After receiving the OTP, enter it and click “OK” to proceed.
  9. Your Jan Aadhaar e-card will downloaded in PDF format, ready for use.

Download e-Aadhaar from DigiLocker Account :

  1. Download and install the DigiLocker app on your smartphone, and sign in to your account.
  2. Select the appropriate partner and document type you wish to download.
  3. Enter your Aadhaar number. OTP will sent to your registered mobile number.
  4. Once confirmed, you can download your Aadhaar card from the ‘Issued’ section of the app.
  5. Your validated digital Aadhaar card is now ready for use in various applications.

e-Aadhaar Card by Umang App :

  1. Sign in to your UMANG account or create one if you haven’t already.
  2. Navigate to All Services and select Show Aadhaar Card from DigiLocker.
  3. You’ll redirected to the DigiLocker home page.
  4. Log in to your DigiLocker account or register if you don’t have one.
  5. Ensure that your phone number is already linked with your Aadhaar before registering for DigiLocker.
  6. Once logged in, you can access your Aadhaar card through the DigiLocker app.

Aadhaar Card via MAadhaar App :

  1. Install and open the mAadhaar app on your smartphone.
  2. If your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar during the registration process, you can proceed to download the Aadhaar card.
  3. An SMS containing a one-time password (OTP) will sent to your registered mobile number. The mAadhaar app will automatically detect and read the OTP.
  4. You can add up to three profiles, including family members, on a single device.

Charges of Various UIDAI Services :

## Important Notice Regarding downloaded e-Aadhar :

  1. UIDAI is getting requests from different organisations and individuals about whether downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) is valid because some authorities are not accepting it.
  2. According to Section 4(3) of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, Aadhaar numbers can given to residents in physical or electronic form.
  3. Downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) shows the same details as the printed Aadhaar letter, like name, address, gender, photo, and date of birth. It’s also digitally signed by UIDAI, which makes it legally recognised under the IT Act, 2000.
  4. So, according to the Aadhaar Act and its regulations, downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) is just as valid as the printed version.
  5. Ministries, departments, state governments, and agencies that accept printed Aadhaar as proof of identity should also accept downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) without any discrimination.

Accessing Aadhar Card with Certain Missing Details :

Aadhaar Card Without Mobile Number :

  1. Go to the official UIDAI website and click on “ My Aadhaar ”.
  2. Select the “Order Aadhaar Reprint” option and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit VID.
  3. Enter the captcha code and choose the option indicating that your mobile number is not registered.
  4. Provide an alternate or unregistered mobile number.
  5. Click on “ Send OTP ”.
  6. Enter the OTP received on the alternate number.
  7. Choose the option to make the payment.
  8. After completing the steps, digitally sign your PDF receipt.
  9. Download your receipt containing a 28-digit service request number.
  10. You can use this service request number to track the status of your application.

Aadhaar Card without Aadhaar Number :

  1. Visit the official UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in on your PC or mobile device.
  2. Scroll down and select “Get Aadhaar” from the options provided.
  3. Click on the “Get EID/UID” option.
  4. Choose whether you want to retrieve your Aadhaar number or registration ID.
  5. Enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, along with your full legal name as it appears on your Aadhaar card.
  6. Click the “Send OTP” button, and you’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number or email address.
  7. Enter the OTP you received and click on ‘Submit OTP’.
  8. You will receive the Aadhaar number (UID) on your mobile number or email address.

Once you have the Aadhaar number, proceed to download the Aadhaar card:

  1. Visit the official UIDAI website at eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
  2. Scroll down to find the ‘Download Aadhaar’ section and click on it.
  3. Enter all the required details such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  4. Submit the details and request for an OTP.
  5. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  6. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Submit’ button to download your Aadhaar card to your system.

Aadhaar Card Download without OTP :

  1. Visit the UIDAI official website and click on “My Aadhaar”.
  2. Choose the “Order Aadhaar Reprint” option.
  3. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or a virtual identification number (VID).
  4. Input the security code or Captcha.
  5. Select the option “ My mobile number is not registered ”.
  6. Enter an alternate or unregistered mobile number and click “ Send OTP ”.
  7. An OTP will generated and sent to the provided number.
  8. Click the “ Send ” button to proceed.
  9. You will directed to a new page with the option to preview the Aadhaar letter for verification and reprinting.
  10. Complete the payment process by selecting the “ Make Payment ” option.
  11. Affix your digital signature on the generated receipt and download the PDF.
  12. A 28-digit service request number will sent via SMS to the alternate mobile number.
  13. Use the service request number to track the status of your application.
