Applying for a DTC Monthly Bus Pass online :

1. Visit the official website of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC).
2. Navigate to the “Bus Passes” or “Passes” section on the website.

These passes grant unlimited travel within the National Capital Territory of Delhi, encompassing journeys on the Palam Coach / Airport Express service, and Inter-state (NCR) routes.

To apply for an online bus :

1. Visit the website dtcpass.delhi.gov.in and complete the application form.
2. Choose the suitable type and duration of the bus pass, and upload digital copies of the necessary documents if applying for a Concessional Bus Pass.
3. Make the payment securely online.
4. Expect delivery of the Conventional Bus pass at your residential address within 5 working days. For e-Bus Passes, receive them through SMS via a link on your mobile number within one working day.

Documents Required for different categories :

a. For Student Concession Passes:

• Completed form with a photograph affixed, attested by school authorities.

b. For BPL/AAY Family Members:

• Documentation verifying BPL/AAY status issued by the competent authority of GNCTD.

c. For Senior Citizens:

• Certificate verifying age and proof of residence in Delhi, along with the pass form attested by a Gazetted Officer/MLA/MP. Senior Citizens are eligible for the pass without any income limit starting from October 1st, 2011.

d. For Handicapped Pass:

• Delhi Ration Card, Medical Certificate, and Identification Card issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of the respective area.

e. For War Widows Pass:

• Relevant certificate, Delhi Ration Card, and a copy of the Pension Book.

f. For Freedom Fighter Pass:

• Relevant certificate, Delhi Ration Card, and a copy of the Pass Book issued by the bank from which the pension is drawn.

g. For Sportsman (International) Pass:

• Certificate issued by the host country and the Government of India, confirming representation for India in international games such as Asiad & Olympic, along with a Delhi Ration Card.

h. For International Awardees Pass:

• Relevant certificate along with a Delhi Ration Card.

i. For Press Pass:

• Accreditation Card issued by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) or Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP).

Instructions to Obtain DTC pass :

1. A payment of ₹15/- is required for the ID cum Bus Pass.
2. Bus Pass renewal should be done within three days.
3. Bus Pass charges will be as per the DTC notification.
4. Refunds are available for unused months in concessional passes and remaining weeks in the General category, up to a maximum of 3 weeks from the issue date.
5. Student applications must include the School Code (Item No. 9).
6. Purchasing a Bus Pass indicates acceptance of all prevailing rules and regulations.
7. Bus passes are non-transferable.
8. Pass holders must present their Bus Pass to Corporation officials on demand; failure to do so may result in penalties.
9. The Corporation will not issue duplicate passes or refund fares for partially / fully damaged, mutilated, or lost Bus Passes.
10. Refunded ticket cost is ₹10/- per refund.
