Death registrations amount to nearly 0.2 million each year, indicating a substantial demand for these services. Consequently, civil registration has become a priority area for computerisation by Local Self Governments (LSGs). Birth, Death, and Marriage registration, facilitated through Sevana, are among the primary services offered through ‘Janasevana kendrams’ and ‘Hospital Kiosks.’

The Sevana suite consists of 10 independent applications designed to handle various activities related to the civil registration system (Birth, Death & Marriage Registration) within a local body.
