- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, or NVS, is an independent organisation under the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India.
- It is headquartered in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh, with eight regional offices in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune, and Shillong.
- Additionally, there are seven Navodaya Leadership Institutes (NLIs) located in Amritsar, Goa, Kamrup, NOIDA, Puri, Rangareddy, and Udaipur.
- NVS operates over 650 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) throughout India, excluding Tamil Nadu.

General Instructions for Candidates:
1. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the notified vacancies. NVS reserves the right to verify the eligibility of candidates at any stage of the selection process.
2. The vacancies mentioned in this recruitment notification are tentative and subject to change. The recruitment process may modified or canceled if necessary.
4. The test paper will given in both Hindi and English languages. Wrong answers will result in negative marking, with 1/4th marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
5. Candidates will shortlisted based on the information provided by them.
6. Incomplete online applications will rejected without further correspondence.
7. Once the online application form is submitted, no modifications will allowed. Differences between online application data and original testimonials may lead to rejection.
8. Candidates can submit objections or responses to questions/answer keys only through the online portal within the specified period.
9. The final result and merit list, the list of candidates shortlisted and any modifications or amendments to the advertisement for further stages of recruitment will displayed on the NVS website. All communication will done through email/SMS and notices on the NVS website.

10. Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
11. NVS may conduct re-examination if necessary.
12. No Travel Allowance will paid for appearing in tests/interviews, except to SC/ST/PwBD candidates as per rules.
13. Candidates found ineligible during verification will not allowed to appear for the interview.
14. Selected candidates may posted anywhere in India.
15. Selected candidates must serve NVS for a minimum of 2 years and sign a service agreement cum security bond and they will on probation for two years, extendable at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
16. Candidates must have qualifications as per the notified/prescribed criteria.
17. In case of differences in the translated version of the advertisement, the English version will prevail.
18. Response sheets and related documents will kept as records for six months from the publication of the result.
19. Any disputes regarding the recruitment process will subject to the jurisdiction of the court in Delhi.
