Under this plan, widows and impoverished women from the state’s economically disadvantaged areas will receive financial help up to Rs 1500. Eknath Shinde government is going to implement the Ladli Bahana  Yojana 2024:

The Maharashtra Ladli Bahana Yojana, officially launched from the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahini Yojana, will implemented by the government of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in an attempt to win over female voters in the upcoming assembly elections. Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik requested Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to introduce the Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra 2024, modelled after Madhya Pradesh, in an effort to win over female voters in the state.

The Maharashtra Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahana Yojana allows women to receive financial support up to Rs 1500, with the possibility of a phased rise to Rs 3000. Benefits from this system will extended to state widows and indigent women between the ages of 21 and 60. According to the Shiv Sena MLA, the programme will significantly increase women’s financial capability and a critical first step towards achieving financial independence.
