Eligibility Criteria For jharkhand teacher eligibility test :

Paper-I

Candidates must hold a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent) with 50% of the possible points. B.Ed. graduates with 50% of the possible points are also qualified, but they have to do a six-month Bridge Course within two years of being appointed. Post-graduates with a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program and a minimum of 55% of marks are qualified.

Paper-II

Applicants must have a 50% senior secondary grade and enrolled in the last year of a 4-year elementary education bachelor’s program, or possess a 50% graduation degree and a 2-year elementary education diploma. Additionally eligible are graduates with 45% grades and a one-year B.Ed. Postgraduates with a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program and at least 55% of the required marks may also apply.

Jharkhand teacher eligibility test Exam Pattern :

There are two papers in the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test. For both papers, examinees allotted two hours and thirty minutes. Paper I is an offline assessment consisting of 200 marks on an OMR sheet. Participants will receive one mark for each accurate response. The Paper II, on the other hand, has 250 multiple-choice questions covering a range of subjects. For every question, the correct response is worth one mark.
