Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) : The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are armed police organisations under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.
Main objectives of CAPF e-awas scheme :
- The primary objective of the CAPF e-portal, inaugurated by the Honourable Home Minister of India, Mr. Amit Shah, in Delhi, is to allocate residential accommodations to all personnel of the armed forces.

3. New users can click on the “Don’t have an account? Sign Up” link and register on the CAPF eAwas Portal.

Applying for a Residence through e-Awas:
1. After creating your login ID, fill out the DE-2 form provided.

1. Candidates allotted must accept house and obtain the permission slip by the 18th of each month after successful allotment.
2. If technical possession not obtained by the 20th of the month, the vacancy will be carried forward.
3. If bidding for houses is allowed, applicants must update their profile by the last day of the preceding month. For example, for the March 2024 bidding cycle, applicants must submit their information by February 28th, 2025.
4. The bidding period runs from the first to the ninth day of the month (e.g., from March 1st to March 9th) and ends at 5 p.m.
5. Residences assigned starting from the 10th day of the month (for the March bidding cycle, allotment starts from March 10th, 2025) on a waiting list basis.
On what basis houses allotted by the Government ?
1. For lower types of housing (types 1-4), only rank or date of enlistment considered.
2. For higher-end lodging, several factors come into play, including:
