Chirag Yojana Haryana Online Registration Application 2024 

The Education Minister of Haryana has recently announced Chirag Yojana which provides a large number of facilities for children, such as educational facilities and grants for children coming from low-income households. In this article, we will learn about what the Chirag Yojana is, its objectives, and the benefits it offers.

Objectives of Chirag Yojana 2024 :

• Through the initiation of Chirag Haryana, the Haryana government aims to provide free private school education to children from low-income families.
• Under this scheme, students from grades two to twelve will eligible to transfer from government schools to private schools free of cost.
• Only children in Haryana state who are interested in attending private schools are eligible to apply for this program.

Latest Update of Chirag Yojana 

The deadline to apply under the Chirag Yojana is March 31, 2024.

• Only students from the state of Haryana who have completed or passed their education from government schools in the previous academic year are eligible to apply under this scheme.
• The application period for admission to the respective recognized private schools under this scheme has been set from March 15 to March 31, 2024.
• Students can also apply from their current region where they are currently studying within the specified period.
• In case more applications are received than the available seats in the schools, a lottery will conducted from April 1 to April 5, 2024, and relevant parents will notified about the lottery draw date and their presence will required during the draw.
• The admission process for recognized private schools will completed from April 1 to April 10, and the list of selected students will displayed on the school’s notice board.

Application Process for Chirag Yojana Haryana 2024:

1. First, you need to visit the official website of Chirag Yojana Haryana – harprathmik.gov.in
2. Then, the homepage of the website will appear.
3. On the homepage, click on the option for – application form and download
4. Fill in the required information.
5. Attach the requested documents with the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the school where you want to enrol your children.
7. When submitting the form, you will given a receipt which you need to keep safe.

Chirag Yojana Eligibility:

• They must a resident of Haryana.
• The annual income of the student’s family should less than INR 1,80,000.
• Only students who consistently excel academically and pass in each section will eligible for the benefits of the Haryana Chirag Yojana.
• Students from Haryana state can participate in private schools from Class 2 to Class 12.

Documents Needed for Chirag Yojana Haryana 2024:

1. Certificate of transition from the public school system to the private system.
2. Official photo identification of the student.
3. Family income certificate certifying their income (either parent).

How to Get Admission in Schools Under Chirag Yojana:

1. To apply for admission in schools under the Chirag Yojana, students must possess the documents mentioned.

2. Admission limited to the private schools indicated in Annexure 6.

3. If a student recommended by their previous school, admission can only granted when they update their information on the data in the portal.
