2. For B.Com. (Honours) in Accounting and Finance, Marketing, and General:

Some Courses and Their Mandatory Requirements :
1. To pursue Honours in Economics, students must meet the qualification criteria in the following subjects:
- Mathematics (For WBCHSE), or
- Mathematics or Business Mathematics (For other boards), or
- Business Economics including Business Mathematics (For WBCHSE).
2. For Honours in Mathematics, students must qualify in Mathematics.
3. For Honours in Chemistry, students must qualify in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
4. To pursue Honours in Physiology, students must qualify in Physiology, Biology, or Bio-technology, along with Chemistry.
5. For Honours in Philosophy, students must qualify in Philosophy or Psychology.
Heramba Chandra College Reservation Details :
1. 22% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes from West Bengal.
2. 6% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes from West Bengal.
3. 3% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes from West Bengal.
4. 3% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged students, subject to the University of Calcutta’s guidelines. A valid certificate from the Presidency Surgeon or Chief Medical Officer of the District (CMOH) is required.
5. Children of employees at Heramba Chandra College and other colleges under the Brahmo Samaj Education Society are given preferential admission to the B.Com (General) course.
6. Admission under SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB/PH quotas may cancelled if the candidates are later found not to domiciled in West Bengal.
