Students have the opportunity to apply for Student Passes for the Academic year 2024-25 through various channels including the BMTC website, BangaloreOne Counters, and the Seva Sindhu portal. In line with the directives of the Government of Karnataka, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) offers student passes at concessional rates or even free of cost, since its inception, aiming to benefit the student community. Degree, professional, technical, medical, and evening college students can conveniently apply for their student passes online.
Upon approval from their respective educational institutions, students can schedule their visit to a BangaloreOne center, selecting their preferred date and time. During their visit, students are required to present the acknowledgment copy of scheduling along with their school or college ID card, fee receipt, or an attested copy from the Head of the institution. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ 2024-25 ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪಾಸ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ವೆಬ್‌ಸೈಟ್‌, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುಒನ್ ಕೌಂಟರ್‌ಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ಸಿಂಧು ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನೇಕ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳಂತೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರೊಪೊಲಿಟನ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮದ (ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ) ಅರ್ಧಿಕ ದರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪಾಸ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದರ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಭ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅಥವಾ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪಾಸ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಡಿಗ್ರಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯಿಕ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪಾಸ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಬಹುದು.

• To access the Student Pass Application portal, visit the following links:
- BMTC website: student.mybmtc.com
- Seva Sindhu portal: sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in
- “Shakthi Scheme” provides free travel facility to girl and transgender students (domicile of Karnataka). For more information, contact the concerned authorities.
Student Pass Application Process :
- SAT Number and Date of Birth are required to fetch student details from the SAT portal.
- Editable details in the application include:

- From-To-Via
- For any other changes, students should contact their school authorities.
- Download the specified format from the BMTC website, fill it out, get it attested by the school authorities, and upload it in the application.
- Fill out all information, upload required documents, and submit the application.
- Each mobile number can apply for up to 3 applications.
- Select the institution and course from the dropdown menus.
- If the institution or course is not available, request your institution to send the details to [email protected] from their official email.
- After submission, SMS will sent to the given mobile number regarding the status of the application.
- Applications will verified and approved by BMTC.

How Applications are Approved ?
- Submitted applications will forwarded to the respective colleges.
- Registered educational institutions will approve student pass applications using their provided user credentials.
- Nodal officers of the institutions can approve or reject the applications.
- Approved applications will verified and approved by BMTC.
Obtaining the Student Pass :
- After approval, students must schedule their visit to the nearest BangaloreOne counter via the scheduler application on the BMTC website.
- BangaloreOne centres issue passes from 0800 hrs to 1830 hrs on all days except national holidays.
- Students must visit the scheduled BangaloreOne center with the prescribed pass amount, school/college ID, and fee receipt to collect their smart card-based student pass.
- Students should present their acknowledgement number at the BangaloreOne center to receive their printed pass.
- Pass rates are available on the BMTC website.

Type 1 :
For Students studying in Primary, High School (State syllabus) :
- Students can apply for a student pass through the online application available on the BMTC website (mybmtc.karnataka.gov.in) and Seva Sindhu portal (serviceonline.gov.in/karnataka).
- The application can accessed via computer or mobile devices.
- Alternatively, students can visit the nearest BangaloreOne centers to apply for a student pass on behalf of the students by paying a nominal fee of Rs.30/-.
- To fetch student details, students need to enter their SATS number and Date of Birth on the application.
- Students have the option to edit details such as Standard, From-To-Via in the application.
- For any other changes, students are advised to contact their school authorities.
- Students must download the specified format from the BMTC website, fill in all required information, get it attested from their respective school authorities, and upload it in the application.
- All information and required documents must uploaded in the application before submission.
- Each mobile number can used to apply for up to 3 applications.
- Students can select their institution and standard from the drop-down menu.
- SMS notifications will sent to the given mobile number after the successful submission and approval/rejection of the application.

Type 2 :
For Students studying in CBSE, ICSE, Special schools, PUC, Degree, Professional, Technical, Medical, Ph.D., and evening college :
- Similar to State syllabus students, CBSE, ICSE, and other students can apply for a student pass through the online application on the BMTC website and Seva Sindhu portal.
- The application process remains the same, including the option to apply through computer or mobile devices and visiting BangaloreOne centers.
- If the institution or course is not available in the drop-down menu, students can request their institution to send the details to [email protected] using their official email ID.
- The approval process involves verification and approval by registered educational institutions using their provided user credentials.
- Nodal officers of the institution have the authority to approve or reject the application.

sir my son is studying in Mount carmel colege we applied for bus pass in seva sindhu portal after filling the form when the submit button is clicked on an error message is displayed “SUBMISSION LOCATION NOT SUBMITTED” as everything is filled according but this error is displayed each an everytime when we apply kindly help out of this problem
