Qualifications for Admission to Rashtriya Military Schools :

1. Age Limits:

For Class VI:

Candidates (boys and girls) who were born between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015, inclusive, and who are between the ages of 10 and 12 as of March 31, 2025, are eligible.

For Class IX: 

Eligible candidates are boys and girls who are between the ages of 13 and 15 on March 31, 2025, and who were born on April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2012, inclusive.

       2. Educational Qualification:

For Class VI:

In order to admitted to the Military School, applicants must either enrolled in or have successfully completed Class V.

For Class IX:

Before the admissions deadline, prospective students must have satisfactorily completed Class VIII at a government or accredited institution. Furthermore, students who are enrolled in Class VIII are qualified to take the entrance exam in order to admitted to Class IX.

 Reservation of Vacancies:

(a) Children of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (ORs) [including ex-servicemen] from the Army, Navy, and Air Force are eligible for seventy percent of the available places.

(b) The children of Army, Navy, and Air Force officers—including retired officers—as well as the offspring of civilians are eligible for thirty percent of the open positions.

(c) Throughout the five Regional Military Schools (RMSs) that are in operation at the same time, a total of fifty seats are set aside expressly for those who are classified as “Killed in Action.”

Selection Process Rashtriya Military Schools Admissions 2025 :

1. Written Exam: To admitted to Class VI, candidates must typically pass a written exam that is of the Class V standard. For admittance to Class IX, it meets the requirements of Class VIII.
