Steps to fill TNEA Application Form 2024 :

Application Fee Payment:

• Check the TNEA 2024 fee structure and make payment online via debit/credit card or net banking. Alternatively, candidates can opt to pay via demand draft drawn in favor of “The Secretary, TNEA” payable at Chennai.

Scholarship Information:

TNEA 2024 eligibility criteria :

• General Eligibility : The TNEA booklet outlines the eligibility criteria, which candidates should review before completing the application process.
• Age Limit : There is no specified age limit, except for marine engineering applicants, who should be under 25 years old.
• Educational Qualification :
  • Candidates must have passed class 12 / HSC with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Marine engineering aspirants should have secured at least 60% marks in PCM and 50% in English in their class 12 examination.

Categories and Supporting Documents :

1. Candidates from Tamil Nadu (Class 8 to 12) : No nativity proof required.
2. Candidates from Outside Tamil Nadu (Class 8 to 12) : Nativity Certificate (electronic or digitally signed e-certificate).
3. Children/Wards of Central Govt. Employees in Tamil Nadu (5 years) : Certificate from employer or guardian regarding continuous employment.
4. Children of Public Sector/Govt. Recognized Institutes Employees (5 years) : Employer certificate with proof of permanent employment (e.g., Income Tax return, PF Slips).
5. Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre Officers : Proof of employment.
6. Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees Studied in Tamil Nadu : Identification certificate from Tahsildar or copies of passport, visa, and police station registration letter.

2. Course and College Registration	Register for courses and colleges of choice.
3. Rank List Publication	Three lists : Tamil, English, and General based on subject marks for respective course admissions.
4. Tentative Allotment Publication	Colleges announce tentative allotments based on rank lists.
5. Reporting to Colleges	Applicants report to allocated colleges as per allotment letter.
