• On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister launched a campaign to distribute free tablets and smartphones to one crore students in the state.
• December 25 has been designated as ‘Good Governance Day’ since 2014, in honour of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who served as Prime Minister three times.
• The distribution event took place at Ekana Stadium, where 60,000 students received tablets and smartphones.
• The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of thinking big and urged young people not to lose hope.
• He highlighted that the devices provided were not just smartphones and tablets but also offered free digital access and content.
