Salary :

Joint Secretary officers’ compensation will be set at the 7th CPC compensation Matrix minimum of Pay Level-14 (approximate gross income will be approximately Rs 2,70,000/-including house rent allowance, dearness allowance, and transport allowance at the current level).
According to the 7th CPC, the pay matrix minimum for the Director level position will be Pay Level-13; the approximate gross income, including current levels of house rent allowance, transportation allowance, and dearness allowance, would be around Rs 2,32,000/-.
The minimum pay level for the Deputy Secretary level position in the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC will be Level-12; the approximate gross compensation for this position would be around Rs. 1,52,000, including house rent allowance, transportation allowance, and dearness allowance.
