The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a management entrance exam that is administered throughout India for admission to the esteemed Xavier School of Management (XLRI) and several other affiliated management schools.

Those who want to apply to XLRI – Xavier School of Management can now register for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025. Beginning on July 15, 2024, interested candidates can fill out the XAT 2025 application form at xatonline.net.in. The final week of November 2024 is the deadline for registering for XAT 2025. The ability to download admit cards will commence on December 20, 2024.

To start, Xavier School of Management (XLRI), formerly known as Xavier Labour Relations Institute, administers the national MBA entry exam, or XAT. This test’s main goal is to make it easier for candidates to get into XLRI and other XAT Associate schools that provide MBA, PGDM, and other management programs.   1. XAT exam is now a computer-based test from a paper-based test
  2. XAT Exam is now a single slot and conducted in a single-day test
  3. There is an increase in the time duration from 3 hours to 3 hours and 10 minutes
  4. Now test is conducted in the afternoon from earlier morning hours
  5. The number of total questions is increased to 101 and +1 Analytical Essay Writing Test

What is the XAT exam?

  • The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is an all-India-level management entrance examination for admission to the prestigious Xavier School of Management (XLRI) and various other associated management institutes.
  • For more than 74 years, XLRI has conducting the XAT exam at all India levels to select the most appropriate candidate for management education.
  • The XAT exam is conducted every year in January by XLRI on behalf of XLRI Associate Member Institutes (XAMI).
  • More than 160 institutes are using XAT exam scores for admission.
  • XAT exam registration begins a couple of months ago the scheduled entrance exam date.

Eligibility Criteria for XAT Exam 2025 :

  1. By March 31st, candidates must have a recognized bachelor’s degree in any discipline that has earned for at least three years, along with at least five years of managerial or supervisory experience. Candidates for general management (GM) may opt to apply using their GMAT results or XAT 2025 results.
    NOTE: The XAT 2025 is a must for all Indian candidates. Nonetheless, individuals from outside and NRIs may apply using their GMAT results.
  2. NRI/Foreign Candidate Eligibility

Candidates who are foreign nationals or NRIs must apply using their GMAT results. Candidates from Nepal and Dubai are not eligible to apply using their GMAT results because the XAT will take place in these two overseas locations.

Registration Process for XAT Exam 2025 :

  1. Create an account on the official XAT website to obtain your password and XAT 2025 ID. Complete the Personal Information form.
  2. Complete the XAT 2025 Registration and Application Form with All of Your Personal Information.
  3. Fill out the Academics section of the XAT 2025 form using the information from classes 10 and 12.
  4. Enter Your Other Qualifications, Graduation, and Work Experience Here.
  5. Enter the XLRI programs and XAT test city of your choice. Add Files & Declare Your Position
  6. After paying the online application fees for the XLRI Program and the XAT Application Form, submit the application.

Documents Required to Fill XAT 2025 Application Form :

Before filling up the application form you must keep all these documents ready by your end.

  • Academic Documents: Pdf of Marksheet of Classes 10th, 12th ,Bachelors and Master (If any)
  • Scan pdf of copy of category certificate (if any)
  • Work experience Certificate (if any)
  • Scanned Photograph: Passport photograph of Size 200 x 230-pixel resolution and file size between 20 KB – 50 KB.
  • Scanned Signature: Scanned pdf of candidate’s signature in 200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution and file size between 10 KB – 20 KB. (The signature needs to on white paper with a black ink pen.)
  • Payment Mode: Payment can done using any of these modes such as credit cards, debit cards, internet banking, cash cards, mobile wallets, etc.

XAT Registration Instructions for 2025 :

The crucial extra guidelines that you need to adhere to both before and throughout the XAT Exam Registration process are as follows:

  1. Prior to registering for the XAT exam, apply: Make sure you have digital signatures and photos that meet the necessary requirements.
  2. You have the option to make changes to your application and re-upload your signature or photo on the XAT registration form.
  3. Payment Registration instructions: To finish payment via Debit/Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets, adhere to the on-screen directions.
  4. Hold on. Following XAT enrollment, payment: Don’t refresh or come back to prevent paying twice. Await the transaction’s confirmation from the server.
  5. Verification of Receipt: An electronic receipt is produced upon successful payment. Should you not receive one, there’s a chance that your payment was unsuccessful; try again.
  6. Printouts: Fill out the application form and print the electronic receipt. Without an electronic receipt, transactions were probably unsuccessful.
  7. Foreign Cards: The currency used is Indian Rupees. Your bank will charge non-Indian cards at the current currency rate.
