Online filling up of examination forms :
- ICAI has introduced online application for Foundation and Intermediate Examinations for the September 2024 session.
- Candidates are required to apply online through the Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org.
- The online application process includes paying the examination fee electronically.
- Eligibility for the examination forms is determined by the course announcements and regulations.
- Candidates need to log in to the SSP using their credentials (Username: [email protected] and password).
- The Exam forms will accessible on the SSP platform on designated dates as announced on icai.org.

Eligibility criteria for the Foundation Examination :
- Candidates must have registered for the Foundation Course with the Board of Studies on or before February 1, 2024, or converted from CPT to Foundation at the time of filling the Exam Form.
- They should have appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by a recognized examining body in India or abroad, or an examination acknowledged by the Central or State Government as equivalent for admission to a graduation course. Compliance with the above conditions is required.

- Click on the link relevant to your exam, such as “Click here To Download Admit Card For Intermediate Exam May 2024” or “Click here To Download Admit Card For Final Exam May 2024”.
- Enter your details, including Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on “DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD” and follow the instructions to proceed.

Examination Centres Overseas :
- The September 2024 Examinations for both Foundation and Intermediate levels will take place at 8 overseas examination centers.
- The overseas examination centers include Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, and Muscat.
- The examination commencement time varies based on the location of the center.
- In Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat, the exams will start at 12:30 PM local time, equivalent to 2 PM IST.
- For Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait, the exams will begin at 11:30 AM local time, corresponding to 2 PM IST.
- In Kathmandu (Nepal), the exams will commence at 2:15 PM local time, which corresponds to 2 PM IST.
- The examination commencement time at the Thimphu (Bhutan) center is 2:30 PM local time, equivalent to 2 PM IST.
- The Council retains the right to withdraw any city or center at any point without providing a reason.
Question Paper Details :
- Students will given the choice to answer papers in either English or Hindi.
- Question Paper 1 will provided in English for all candidates, including those opting for Hindi medium. However, Hindi medium candidates allowed to respond in Hindi.
- Question Paper 2 will in English for English medium students and bilingual (English and Hindi) for Hindi medium students.
- Question Papers for Papers 3 and 4 will in English for English medium candidates and in Hindi for Hindi medium candidates.
- OMR answer sheets for Papers 3 and 4 will in English for all candidates, including those opting for Hindi medium.
